A calming sombre start with synths and gentle brass. Strings join to play the progression before ostinato also join to support. Big drums introduce the next emotional part. An epic climax hits with an emotional pull of power and a feeling of glory. The brass continuously climb with the strings and ostinato The drums become more empowering as the track goes on until it ends with a drum, brass and ostinato outro.

Reawakenings: The Departure is really just Reawakenings but without the vocals, still, its otherworldly music is easy to get lost in. I think the titles on this album were carefully thought out to best represent their imagination on what the song sounds like, like my favorite: Starbirth.
